The collaboration process with Patricio of Twelve Thirty Four

I’ve known Patricio Rivera of Twelve Thirty Four  for several years and throughout our friendship we have pushed one another to be better. Sometimes by way of conversation and other times by way of collaboration.

Patricio is a Dallas-based mixed media artist, who creates curated experiences through his production design and floral arrangements.

The energy in his studio and floral arrangements are soft, elegant, dreamy, and inspirational.

In our most recent collaboration we recreated images influenced by the quote “life imitates art” and Loewe advertisement I saw in Spain over two years ago.

I admire how Patricio bends and shapes ideas and materials to go from ordinary to extraordinary. He sees things that most others don’t. And has a way of spotting the more significant things even if they’re not obvious at first.

Everything is intentional for him. You can see this in the way that he designed his utilitarian shirt (pictured below). Shout out to Crespatrick for crafting them.

I sat down with Patricio to talk about the origin of our latest project together. Take a listen and look through the images we created.

Do you have a project you would like my collaboration on? I want to hear all about it, connect with me and let’s talk!
